What this app is
Nobody Asked is an anonymous corkboard for short unsolicited opinions. We do not sell ads based on your identity, and we do not require a personal profile to use the board.

Data we collect

• Device identifier: a random ID stored on your device (Secure Store / app storage). It is used only so your reactions, comments, city, and posts stay consistent on that phone. It is not your name, phone number, or email.
• Posts, reactions, comments, reports, and city label you choose to submit to the corkboard.
• Optional email + password if you create a signed-in account (admin / developer tools only for approved emails).
• Basic technical data necessary to run the service (timestamps, error responses from our API).

What we do not collect

• Contacts, location GPS, microphone, camera, SMS, or advertising IDs.
• We do not build a public social graph (no followers, no profiles).

How we use data

• Show your takes and others' takes on the corkboard.
• Enforce limits (rate limits, two comments per post, one reaction type per post).
• Moderate abuse (reports, blocklist, admin hide).
• Secure the service (authentication for admins).

Sharing

• Content you post is visible to other people using the app (that is the product).
• We use Supabase (hosted Postgres + Auth) as our backend infrastructure. Data is processed under their terms as our processor.
• We do not sell personal data.

Retention

• Posts remain until you delete your own post, or a moderator hides/removes abusive content.
• Device IDs stay until you clear app data or uninstall.
• Report logs may be kept for safety review.

Your controls

• Delete your own posts in-app.
• Change city for the Local feed.
• Sign out of your optional account.
• Uninstall the app to remove local device ID and session.
• Delete your signed-in account in-app (Profile → Delete account) or via our account deletion page.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13. Do not use it if you are under the age required by your local laws for such services.
